The first Archivators 12" featured some choice remixes from Joey Negro amongst others deep cover gems from the deep house fraternity. The theme continues on this second 12", which leads in style with a shimmering remix of Vincent Inc by Julian Sanza. Next up comes the eternal, infectious anthem "Music Is My Life" by Colonel Abrams - the seriously deadly club dub no less. Nu jazz veteran Nigel Hayes kicks off the B side with the uplifting broken beat flavour of "Jabawaki", before DJ EFX closes the record out with smoky chords n keys aplenty on "Gravity".

LFO's self-titled debut 12" is arguably the greatest British techno record ever made. While that's a bold claim, there's no denying that it still sounds incredible 30 years after Mark Bell, Gez Varley and Martin Williams got together and made it. This purple vinyl "anniversary edition" from Flash Forward contains all three tracks from the original 12". Attention will naturally focus on the peerless "Leeds Warehouse Mix" of "LFO" - a near perfect Bleep and Bass cut full of Motor City synth chords, speak-and-spell vocals and the weightiest sub-bass ever found on a techno tune - but the B-sides are equally as good. "Track 4" is another bleeping, bass-heavy beast with skittish, dun reggae influenced drums, while "Probe (The Cuba Edit)" is alien, metallic and mind-altering in equal measure.

Here's something to get the blood pumping: a deserved single release for one of the undoubted highlights of Jovonn's 2018 album "Timeless", Casio Ware collaboration "Turnin' Me Out". You'll find the pair's original version - a bouncy, slick and deep workout featuring hybrid spoken/sung vocals from Casio Ware - tucked away on side B, alongside a throbbing "Dark Dub" by Jovonn that makes great use of a dirty analogue bassline and melancholic late night chords. The headline attraction that is undoubtedly the A-side revisions by Masters at Work man Louie Vega. He delivers vocal and instrumental takes of his "Expressions NYC Mix", both of which feature looser, more swinging drums, ear-catching Rhodes solos and lashings of jazzy new synths.

Mr Blatman's Lunar Orbiter Program follows up some great EPs by Krypton 81, Cyan85 and Turk Turkelton with this killer one by mysterious newcomer Torai. All that we do know at this stage is that he is a young DJ/producer from Manchester making his debut on vinyl, and is said to be the legendary Mr. G's nephew - if the Soundcloud comments are anything to go by. He serves up four Drexciyan electro jams straight outta the future on the "Sensory Deprivation" EP: from the acid inflected first wave Motor City funk of "Fr34k" (think Model 500), to B side cuts like "Fright" which goes for that classic bass-driven sci-fi vibe and the emotive minimal beats of closer "Eleccy".
