Endless is a journey through cosmic soundscapes, where jazz-funk, early electronics, and ambient experimentation meet. Carefully curated by Charles Maurice from his personal collection, this compilation brings together 10 rare recordings from 1969 to 1985, revealing an era of fearless creativity and sonic exploration. Marking 10 years since Charles Maurice’s first compilation in 2015, Endless also celebrates a milestone — his 13th release in a decade of unearthing rare and beautiful music from forgotten archives. From Beaver & Krause and their pioneering Moog experiments to the lush electronic symphonies of Jean-Claude Petit, the dreamy synth work of Ector Davis, and the cinematic beauty of Bernard Larquet, each track opens a window into a different musical galaxy. Highlights include Patrick Marcel’s privately pressed 1985 recording “Bagnols”, an atmospheric fusion of ambient textures and ECM-inspired jazz, and Wlodek Gulgowski’s Scandinavian jazz-funk masterpiece that bridges groove and cosmic elegance. Unearthed from obscurity, Endless – Universal Cosmic Sounds celebrates a timeless vision of music without boundaries — a rediscovery of the rare, the beautiful, and the endlessly imaginative. -

· Fully licensed reissue of this 1974 album, central in Argentina's jazz history. · Sound sourced from mastertapes. · Housed in gatefold cover, including an additional insert with photos and translation of original liner notes into English. ============================================ From the introspective "Mojo uno", Gelbard's solo piece on Moog, to the wild "Alevacolariea", featuring the prolific Uruguayan Rubén Rada, Gelbard's solo album offers no chance to remain indifferent. Fernando Gelbard occupies a singular place in Argentine jazz history, remembered for his bold embrace of new sounds and his refusal to let boundaries define him. A pianist, flautist, and producer, he was among the first in Argentina to explore the possibilities of electronic instruments in jazz, creating a body of work that feels both rooted in tradition and ahead of its time. Didi, recorded in 1974, epitomises this vision. Entirely performed on electronic keyboards such as the Moog synthesizer and Fender Rhodes, it fused bebop harmonies with bossa nova -Gelbard has a deep love for Brazilian music-, Latin grooves, and Afro-American rhythmic textures. The result was a kaleidoscopic soundscape that challenged conventions and opened doors for new directions in South American jazz. Tracks like "Alevacolariea", featuring the Uruguayan Rubén Rada, with its rich percussion and chanting, reveal his interest in rhythm as a unifying force, while pieces such as "Chau, Ambrosio" show his skill at blending layered studio experimentation with a straight-ahead jazz sensibility. Gelbard's contributions extended beyond his own recordings. He collaborated with leading Argentine musicians, including saxophonist Horacio "Chivo" Borraro, whose improvisational energy found a natural partner in Gelbard's adventurous arrangements. He also became a key figure behind the scenes as the owner of the influential ION studios in Buenos Aires. Under his guidance, the studio grew into a creative hub where countless Argentine artists explored new sonic territories, benefitting from Gelbard's producer's ear and openness to experimentation. His musical journey was intertwined with a turbulent political backdrop. The son of José Ber Gelbard, Argentina's economy minister under Juan Perón, Fernando grew up in a household where culture and politics were inseparable. After the 1976 military coup, the family was forced into exile, relocating to the United States. In California, he continued his artistic pursuits while building a career as a consultant, always keeping a link to the music that defined him. Taken together, his work as performer, producer, and studio innovator marks him as a central figure in the evolution of Argentine jazz. Gelbard's music continues to resonate not only for its technical daring but also for its warmth, its rhythmic vitality, and its vision of jazz as a space where cultures and technologies could meet on equal footing. -

The debut album is a journey through layers of influences connected by the band members bringing the sound of Ethio-Jazz, Afrobeat, Percussion, Dub and Tribal Music with an electronica sauce are interwoven, all mixed together in a delicate balance that creates a cinematic soulful and one-of a kind aesthetic blend from the connection of several worlds The name "Tezeta" is taken from the well-known Ethiopian musical scale, which served as a major inspiration for the writing. This scale symbolizes nostalgia, longing & love songs and serves as a starting point that resonates a quiet pain and longing for a far away place, but still feels like home. In the case of Hadar and Tushiner, this is a tangible longing and the African sounds are woven into them like a second language The approach to the production of the album reflects loyalty to the tradition of classic studio recordings that include tape reels, field recordings, African percussion, flutes, saxophone and old synthesizers combined with guitars and drums. Every recorded sound went through a filter of precision, listening, and searching for depth that is both technical and emotional Their music always takes place in the present, it is a living, open moment, connected at the same time to what is heard in the distance from the winds of the Gulf of the African continent and through the streets of Tel Aviv, inviting listeners into a space where emotion and rhythm move together as one Eran Hadar guitars, synths, percussion, sound Eylon Tushiner saxophone, flute, keys Dror Tshuva bass guitar Omri Gondor drums -

Following their rattling 45 Cry / I’ll Be There Now and the wiry full-length My Mother Was a Friend of an Enemy of the People, Blurt returns to All City with Mecanno Giraffe - a new 12" capturing Ted Milton’s band of beat-punk absurdists in full, surreal stride. The A-side delivers the title track: Mecanno Giraffe, a spiky, off-kilter groove threaded with Milton’s unmistakable bark, rhythmic sax blurts, and angular momentum that feels both mechanical and oddly animal. It’s Blurt as alwaya: driving, dry-witted, and defiantly out of sync with any prevailing trends. On the flip, Milton shifts gear with a number of spoken word pieces. Stripped bare, intimate, incantatory. More Artaud than Allen, these pieces reveal another facet of Blurt’s singular frontman, echoing threads found in recent interviews tracing his ongoing collision of poetry, punk, and performance. Third strike on the label and still no sign of softening. Mecanno Giraffe proves that Blurt still remains gloriously out of step, part animal, part machine!. -

After a quiet return via Neroli, Domu comes full circle to 2000black with a final statement after 25 years of sonic highs, lows and plenty of reinvention. Haunted by the echoes of jungle's past, Domu steps away for good, he says, with this final outing, which leaves behind three deeply personal tracks. 'A Madness' brims with urgent, sample-heavy energy and signature keys. 'Not Him Again' is a jam with longtime collaborator Robert Marin that plays with tempo and hip-hop norms. 'Them Things' then seeks to capture an elusive feeling and closes an EP that is Domu at his most reflective and raw. The end of an era. Don't let it pass you by. -

Italian jazz trio Collettivo Immaginario announces the release of their second full-length album, 'Oltreoceano'. Known for their slick sound and energetic live performances, their style is firmly rooted in the jazz tradition of collective improvisation, through which they have developed an agile, kaleidoscopic sound. The trio’s unique fusion of funk, jazz, and 70's electronica continues in the trio’s latest release, forging connections across oceans through the universal language of music. Consisting of founder Tommaso Cappellato on drums and percussion, Nicolò Masetto on electric bass, and Alberto Lincetto on rhodes, piano, and synths, Collettivo Immaginario have become rising stars in the Italian festival scene, from the streets of their hometown in Italy to the diverse audiences in Los Angeles, London and Milan. Subtly paying homage to genre-bending giants like Azymuth, Lonnie Liston Smith, Herbie Hancock, and Hermeto Pascoal—alongside Italian film music legends Piero Piccioni and Piero Umiliani—their sound moves effortlessly between the heat of the club and the cinematic allure of evocative film scores, infused with touches of spiritual jazz. -

This debut album by Amsterdam-based guitarist Johnny Biner is a modern day jazz piece, with hints of soul, funk, hip-hop, and latin jazz as well. It's the follow-up of his 7-inch 'Don't Ask Me/Way Too Long', which came out in 2023 and launched his solo endeavours. Johnny's compositions are filled with warmth and unexpected left turns, such as the raw banger 'Tonic Water' (which got featured on the Super-Sonic Jazz compilation) and the beautiful samba-inspired jazz-funk tune 'Pick It Up'. There are lots of layers to this musician, and they're all cohesive with his sound. The album obviously is a way out for the artist, from creating it at home or in the studio with his close musician friends and sharing it with the public. But the process has equally been a healing way out of the everyday life. Think of the moments when music teleports your mind out of the earthly spheres, into the more universal ones, this is what 'A Way Out' would represent as well. The power of honest music. "If US guitarist Isaiah Sharkey and Brazilian guitarist Toninho Horta would've had a European baby, it could've made 'A Way Out'." -

Koinè is the new album by Pellegrino & Zodyaco, a record that explores the desire to escape by interpreting it as an act of emancipation, an aimless journey in search of creative freedom. The demonstration that escapism, when it is conscious, can bring us back to the heart of things. Inspired by Éloge de la fuite by Henri Laborit, the album embarks on a journey to discover a “common language” (Koinè), blending Neapolitan roots with a global and contemporary musical vision. It blends melodic traditions with disco, funk, jazz fusion, and world music, experimenting with vintage instruments, ethnic percussion, and Mediterranean atmospheres. Pellegrino, a pioneer of the “new school” Neapolitan sound, after 4 years since his last LP “Morphé” (2020) continues the path started with Zodyaco I (2018), painting an authentic portrait of modern Naples and celebrating musical contamination as a form of creative euphoria. -
