Founded in 2008, Camarâo Orkestra recorded a first album whose repertoire was mainly inspired by the rhythms of the Nordeste region of Brazil (Maracatu & Ciranda).
In 2016, the band worked on a brand new repertoire which opens out to the rest of Brazil (Samba, Boï, Afoxé...) as well as 'candomblé', the deep roots of Brazilian music.
