No Return! Cataleya Music continues 2025 in style with the powerful Bring Me Down. Alton Miller is no stranger to the label, having remixed Mark Francis' Exclusively last year. Miller has a Detroit House pedigree stretching back to the 1980s and today can be found on labels like Mister Bear and Quintessentials. Detroit's Maurissa Rose has worked with everyone from Dave Lee to Theo Parrish. Bring Me Down appeared on Sound Signature in 2017 and is back now with new remixes. Alton Miller's Remix features a strong vocal display and understanding keys. The Instrumental focuses closely on those keys and organic percussion. Coflo continues his relationship with Cataleya with stellar remixes. Coflo's Vocal Remix employs a flute, which gives Maurissa's vocals a melancholic tinge. His Instrumental sees the flute fly alongside a sturdy backend. Cataleya Music is already shaping up for a strong 2025.

Well ahead of its time, this exposé of ceremonial grade psychedelic nuances featuring South Asian vocal samples interlaced with electronic music production methods takes the originally more fast passed trance-like direction of the label’s first 3 years and re-directs things towards a new more downtempo/trip-hop route. With the BPM counter cruising in the low 100’s steadily throughout the first 3 tracks and ending on a full on ambient beatless 8 minute meditative journey, this EP marks a new aesthetic plateau for the Exist Dance catalogue, with “Cantamilla” even crossing over to Balearic radars and being played by Ibiza legends like Jose Padilla. “Recorded in Heaven”. SAIS005.5 — a companion piece to the PMA EP by B-2DEP’T released on SAISEI earlier this year — is a unique one-sided 10” EP featuring a remix by Uruguayan producer Z@p. The Phonoteque resident reworks ‘BSMH’ with a classic 80s electro beat and bassline, funking up the groove for all the breakdancers in the crowd. The original vocodered lyrics — “Body/Sonic/Mental/Health” — resonate today as much as they did back in 1993, acting as a mantra for a new rave generation.
