London-based label Art of Dark are a force to be reckoned with, consistently releasing EPs full of murky slammers. Their first release of 2026, titled 'Storm in The Matrix', is no different, and consists of five tracks from Berlin electro-maestro Otis, a producer known for his captivating live sets. The first track, 'Drifting Endlessly', comes out the gate swinging, with a muttered vox and a mean 303 line over some punchy kicks. 'Morphineus' follows, and feels like an electro equivalent of a ballad , as a french vocal sample over a fragile synth lead is met by swelling pads which are lathered over another infectious acid line. 'Link Gatekeeper Edit' is the break-up rock song to follow, as sporadic synths are joined by a guitar riff akin to one you might hear in a Stone Roses song. On the B-side, 'Yourdigitalself' and '1000yrs Storm' close out the EP in a proper Art of Dark fashion with pure, unadulterated, heads-down electro action.
